Privacy Policy

BankReady is a service of Fundmybiz LLC dba Biz Lending Strategy ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use BankReady, why, who helps us process it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. Questions: analyst@bizlendingstrategy.com.
What we collect
- Contact details: your email address, and the business names you add to a monthly plan.
- Financial documents you upload: statements such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets and debt schedules, and the figures we read from them.
- Our analysis: the scores, ratios and written reports we produce from your documents.
- Payment details: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To analyze your financial documents and deliver your Snapshot, Report or monthly Reports.
- To run your account: logging you in, monthly reminders, and showing your score history.
- To respond to you, and to process payments and subscriptions.
- To review and improve the accuracy of our analysis.
We use your financial information only to provide BankReady to you. We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising, and we don't run advertising trackers on this site.
Who helps us process it
We share information only with the service providers that run BankReady for us, each limited to what its job needs:
- Stripe: payments and subscriptions.
- Cloudflare (R2): encrypted storage of your uploaded files.
- Render: hosting for the website and its database.
- Resend: sending email, such as your reports, login links and reminders.
- Anthropic: the AI model that writes the narrative in your report from the figures we compute. Anthropic does not use data sent through its business API to train its models.
- Kit: the email list for our free checklist, if you sign up for it.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Cookies and visit counts
We set one essential cookie to keep you logged in to your account (for up to 30 days on that browser). We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. Signing up for the free checklist loads Kit's form script on the homepage.
Our pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends Google your IP address and basic browser details when it fetches them, as with any website you visit. We don't send Google anything else, and Google's own privacy policy covers what it does with that request.
To see how many people use the site, we count visits on our own server, with no cookie and no outside tracking script. For each page you open, we record the page, the date and the website that linked you here (its name only, such as linkedin.com). To count you once per day, we combine your IP address and browser details with a random value that changes every day and is then deleted, and keep only the scrambled result. We don't store your IP address or browser details, and the result can't be used to recognize you on a later day. Visit counts are deleted after 13 months.
How long we keep it
- One-time Snapshot or Report: your files and results are kept for 12 months after delivery, then deleted.
- Monthly plans: kept while your subscription is active, so each month can be compared with earlier ones, and for 12 months after it ends, then deleted.
- Sooner on request: email us and we'll delete your files and results (see below).
We may keep limited records longer where the law requires it, such as payment and tax records.
Your choices and rights
- Access or deletion: email analyst@bizlendingstrategy.com from the address on your account to request a copy of your data or its deletion. We reply within 24 hours and complete requests within 30 days.
- Emails: you can unsubscribe from checklist emails at any time. Service emails, such as your reports and login links, come with using BankReady.
- California residents have rights to know, delete and correct personal information, and not to be discriminated against for using them. We do not sell or share personal information as California law defines those terms.
Security
Your files travel over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and are stored encrypted. Access to them is limited to the people and services that need it to deliver your analysis. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you promptly if a breach affects you.
Children
BankReady is for businesses and isn't directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell account holders by email.
